The Flower Garden National Marine Sanctuary

The Flower Gardens are healthy coral ecosystems in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico oil patch.

The Flower Gardens were declared a National Marine Sanctuary in 1994. They have become an important destination for sport divers looking for beauty and adventure along the Gulf Coast.
