Our goal is to research significant biological/geological
resources in the Northern Gulf of Mexico. We plan to investigate
ecology of oil seeps and hydrate systems. Data gathered on the cruise will be used to fulfill partial objectives
of Stability and Change in Gulf of Mexico Chemosynthetic Communities Program
(CHEMO), sponsored by Dept. of Interior, Minerals Management Service, Gulf
of Mexico OCS Regional Office. |
