Taking a westerly heading, we glide into the Gulf on nearly still waters. The ocean has been very gentle to the Carolyn and the NR-1. Clipping along at 8 knots, we are due to reach our first diving site the 18th.

Into the Gulf

Adios to the Atlantic and a warm thanks for her gentle seas. You can see what a smooth ride we have. No sick tummies on this cruise.

Jon and Cody monitor our travel from the bridge.

Brian carefully calculates our every turn.

Jump on in! Sorry, no diving allowed.

Wil finds solitude in the conference room. Finding a lone place on the ship can be very conducive for working.

A quick peek inside the snug sub NR1. Control panels galore to operate this impressive piece of machinery.

The Z-boat allows prompt communication between the NR1 and her "mother ship".

Liquid gold on the water... The sun shines into admiring eyes as it nears the horizon.
